Fireworks
This video is from our fireworks adventure last night, I put my camcorder on the line for the footage on the left. So totally worth it.

Fireworks are win. Why? Explosions that let the inner pyromaniac out of all of us. Not since the Berlin wall going down does this much destruction bring so much happiness.

When that thing you had to do but didn’t want to do gets cancelled.
Because then you don’t have to do the thing you didn’t want to do but had to do, and you can not do that thing you didn’t want to do, instead doing the thing you wanted to do but otherwise couldn’t do because of the thing you had to do.

When A Stranger Holds the Elevator Door
Running late to that appointment, you bound up the lobby stairs and over to the elevator bank. You see the door start to slide shut. But wait. A hand reaches out to stop the momentum, enabling you to enter the elevator. A stranger has shaved moments out of their day—moments perhaps better spent in myriad ways—to wait while you approach and enter the elevator. Win! Nothing makes you feel closer to your fellow man than this act of kindness.

Permanent Markers, such as Sharpie brand markers, are awesome.
Label your CDs! Write on anything! Everything! Color your shoes black – why? Because you can!
Draw on your, uh, sleeping friend! Or whatever else you do for fun, permanent markers, while potentially dangerous, are win.
